"Cute gifts, but I felt a bit unsure after paying"
I had a look through the gift shop on Farmer Ted's and it was fine overall. I found a couple of cute little things for the kids and a few small present ideas, and the site was easy enough to browse without any hassle.
The only thing was the choice felt a bit limited, and quite a few items seemed similar. Also, after I paid, I had that slightly uneasy feeling because the confirmation didn’t feel very reassuring straight away. Nothing went wrong in the end, but it did make me a bit distrustful for a moment.

"Felt light on real value"
I was hoping this would be more helpful, but it felt thin. I didn’t come away feeling like I learned much, and the way it was organized didn’t really make things any clearer. If people are taking the time and money to learn something, I think it’s only fair that the material gives them something solid to work with
"I panicked for nothing — cancellation got sorted"
I sent a quick message about my cancellation and acted like the refund had vanished into another dimension. Turns out I was being dramatic because it did come through, it just took a little while. All sorted in the end, so no complaints really

"A Bit Chaotic, But the Kids Had a Blast"
I wasn’t sure the goats would be that exciting, and at first I thought the area felt a little too busy. But somehow that ended up being the best part. The kids absolutely loved feeding and petting the goats and didn’t want to leave. I was ready to move on quickly, but also I kind of enjoyed watching them have so much fun.

"Had to chase updates a few times"
My order showed up fine in the end, but the updates were poor. I think I had to follow up about 2 or 3 times just to find out what was going on. Replies took a while, and the tracking info only came through fairly late. Not the worst experience, but definitely a bit frustrating.

"Hard to get tickets for the time we wanted"
We tried booking tickets for a weekend visit, most of the times were already gone by the time I checked. I even looked again later that evening while making dinner, but nothing really opened up.
It was frustrating because we were trying to plan around the kids, naps, lunch, the whole circus, and the only slots left just didn’t work for us. The website itself was fine enough, nothing confusing, but the availability felt really limited.
Maybe weekdays are easier, or maybe we just picked a busy weekend, no idea. For us though, it was kind of a letdown because we had already hyped it up to the kids and then couldn’t make it happen.

"We went when it was wet..."
We went when it was wet and windy, and honestly... it just didn’t end up being that enjoyable. Quite a few areas felt muddy and cold, and there weren’t really enough covered spots to make us want to hang around for long. The kids still enjoyed seeing some of the animals, which helped, but for the price... I’d probably only go back if the weather was looking decent

"I went with my kids and maybe..."
I went with my kids and maybe it was just a bad day, but it felt absolutely packed everywhere. The lines were long, there was barely any room to move around, and instead of being fun it ended up feeling stressful. I don’t know if others felt the same, but it really seemed like they let way too many people in at once

"Really frustrating if you're visiting with someone disabled"
I went with my disabled nephew it was way more difficult than it should’ve been. Getting around felt like a hassle because the paths were awkward, the signs weren’t clear at all, and when we asked staff for help, they didn’t really seem to know what to suggest. It just felt like accessibility was an afterthought, which was frustrating

"Not the family day we expected"
We took the kids thinking it would be a fun day out, but it ended up being disappointing. A bunch of the activities were closed, and the ones that were open were either too crowded or just not very exciting, so the kids lost interest quickly. When we needed help, there wasn’t really anyone around, which made it even more frustrating. For what we paid, I expected a lot more. We probably wouldn’t rush to go back.

"Bit unfriendly"
Took the kids to Farmer Teds. It was okay. Kids had fun, mostly. But the staff didn’t seem that friendly. A couple looked like they didn’t want to be there. One reply we got was blunt too. Kind of took the shine off it

"Line Moved, Just Not Very Fast"
I stopped by the queue wasn’t terrible. It did keep moving, so I wasn’t just standing there forever, but it definitely felt slower than it needed to be. The staff seemed a little unsure about what was going on at times, which probably didn’t help. Not a bad experience overall, just a bit of a slow start.

"Booking really killed the vibe"
I was already not in the mood to deal with a clunky website, and the booking process just made it worse. Picking a time slot was more confusing than it needed to be, and then the checkout page seemed to freeze or glitch. It took way longer than expected, and for a while I couldn’t tell if my booking had even gone through. By the end, I was just irritated and put off from using it again.

"We were disappointed with the…"
We were disappointed with the cafe food, to be honest. The chips came out cold and the coffee tasted really weak. The kids still ate theirs, but I had to chase them about our order/complaint, which just made it more frustrating. We’d probably come back for the place itself, but we wouldn’t bother with the food next time.

"We went to the Halloween event..."
We went to the Halloween event with the kids and overall they had a good time, so that was the main thing. I did have to keep checking the confirmation email because the times weren’t super clear, and once we got there the queues felt a bit all over the place. It was still a fun outing, just could’ve been a bit better organized.

"They really need more staff paying attention"
My kids had fun with some of the activities, so it wasn’t a total miss, but I was disappointed with how little supervision there seemed to be around the play areas. There were a few bigger kids running around way too aggressively, and I kept waiting for someone on staff to step in, but nobody did. It felt like the staff on duty just weren’t watching closely enough, and that made me uneasy as a parent...

"Could Use Some Attention"
The toilets were messy when I was there, and the facilities just felt a little run down. It wasn’t the best experience, and it seemed like the place could really use a bit more care and upkeep.

"Not the birthday party experience I was hoping for"
We booked a birthday party here, i left disappointed. Maybe I’m a little picky when it comes to kids’ parties because I want things to feel organized and fun, but this just felt chaotic from the beginning. The staff didn’t seem totally sure what was going on, the food took way too long, and the kids spent a lot of time just waiting around and getting restless. For what we paid, I expected a much smoother experience. I personally wouldn’t book another party here.
"Good day out, but the signs need work"
We went to Farmer Ted’s recently and overall it was a decent day out. It’s a bit out of the way for us, but the sat nav got us there without too much trouble. The thing that’s still fresh in my mind is how easy it was to almost miss the turn when we got close, and the parking signs weren’t the clearest either. Once we were in, the kids had a really good time, so it wasn’t a bad visit at all. Just think it would be much better with clearer signposting around the entrance and car park

"Nice enough, just shorter than expected"
It was a nice place and we did enjoy it, but the visit felt like it was over fast. The way places describe things always makes it sound like this full, polished experience, and then you get there and it’s more like, okay, that was it? Not bad at all, just not as long or as much as I expected.
